Abstract

Editor-in-Chief Prof. David C. Whitcomb, MD, PhD, discusses key limitations of generative AI in the writing of medical and scientific manuscripts. The editorial also presents the SMART-MD Journal of Precision Medicine policy on AI use and the requirement to acknowledge that use.
